Are you struggling with challenges in your life, feeling overwhelmed, anxious or down? Do you find yourself repeating patterns that aren’t working for you anymore, wanting change but feeling stuck?
Engaging in therapy can make a difference. Psychotherapy is a joint endeavor between therapist and client. While each of us comes to psychotherapy for different reasons, we all require acceptance, empathy and support to examine our lives and make change. I offer therapy for adults, adolescents, and children, working with individuals, couples, and families, choosing modalities and tailoring my approach based upon the needs of the individual or individuals who have come for help. I have helped people with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, loss, relationships, divorce, remarriage, parenting, neuropsychiatric disorders (for example, ADHD, OCD, and Tourette’s Syndrome) and chronic illness.
I draw from several therapeutic perspectives, including family systems, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and humanistic, and have postdoctoral training in marriage and family therapy and psychoanalysis.
My office is located in Haverford, PA, convenient to all of the Main Line and surrounding suburbs, Philadelphia and the Blue Route. The Haverford train station (SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail) and bus (routes 105 and 106) are just a few blocks away.
